According to IDC research, online gambling is going to expand its activity over Asia. The development of the online entertainment is very strongly connected with the broad access to the internet and computers. This access is becoming easier and easier because of the lower costs of producing and maintaining the hardware. It is estimated that in the area of South Korea the number of computers will increase to 100 million and the number of mobile phones - to 400 million (in 2003). Although the telecommunication industry had some problems during the previous year, the situation will change thanks to the investors contribution. The same situation will take place in the Asia Pacific where the communication technology is going to develop extremely fast.
