The future of Casino Atlantis is threatened. Kerzner International Limited stated its closure plans for its online activity. Kerzner Interactive’s major goal was to expand its influence and to build up the revenues. Unfotunatelly, the new strict law stops further development of the enterprise. Kerzner International would not be able to expand its activity in other areas, like the United States. Besides, the competition became too fierce and the the predictions for the future not beneficial. The company estimated that there is no chance to considerably increase the revenues of the enterprise. Before the shut-down the company renegotiated the previous contract with Station Casinos (“Station”), which ensured Station an option of getting a 50% interest in Kerzner Interactive. The Station agreed to cancel the agreement. The company’s general goal is to close the activity of the enterprise until the beginning of 2003.
