The U.K. Hilton hotel chain will have turned some of its hotel facilities into casinos by the end of the next year. The hotels in Brighton and Blackpool have large rooms. Brighton’s room has 400 sq. ft. The hotels in Blackpool and Brighton are compared to mini-Atlantic cities. They both are very big, with banqueting rooms that can be converted into large casinos. There will be a lot of entertainment there - slot machines, roulette wheels, craps, and poker. The Brighton casino will aim mainly at weekend gamblers with the offer of 200 slot machines and 30 gaming tables. There also will be some other attractions, like cabaret. Hilton resorts are not just a place for gambling, they also supply customers with non-gambling entertainment. Gambling laws in the U.K. allow casinos to advertise, have live entertainment and additional slot machines that will guarantee bigger jackpot prizes. The Metropole and West Pier are seafront places which Hilton also plans to turn into mini-Atlantic Cities.
