A respected mid aged lawyer from Christchurch in New Zeland was recently charged with financial fraud. He cheated clients of his own firm and spent all the received money on gambling activities. It is estimated that the dishonest lawyer lost more or less $1.1 million, all in the local casino. Fortunately, the man admitted to the committed crimes. His statement will enable the Solicitor’s Fidelity Guarantee Fund to resolve the complaints of the lawyer’s ex-clients.
