The possessor of a pair of online gambling Portals has been accused for supposedly swindling Silicon Valley shareholders of over $4 million with assurances that the projects had been supported by some of Las Vegas’ largest casinos, and by Microsoft President Steve Ballmer and magician David Copperfield.
During last week, a grand jury in Northern California returned an 11-count condemnation against 23-year-old Robert Robb, who is blamed of committing a complicated fraud plan to gather deal for his online gaming firms, Millennium Networks and Junglegames.com.
Due to the accusation, Robb faked marks to make it seem like that Las Vegas’ top casinos were attracted to his online gaming technology. Robb supposedly tempted Silicon Valley shareholders into putting money in his technologies as well by declaring that Microsoft President Steven Ballmer had decided to buy his gaming patents for $50 million in money.
The accusation claims that Robb spent a mass of the funds he gathered gambling in Las Vegas as well.
If funded guilty, Robb faces up to five years in jail and fines of up to $250,000.
Robb’s lawyer rejected to comment for this story.
